Do these black and white images illustrate the adage, “A picture is worth a thousand words” to you? We found these great pictures at Decor8blog.com. Sometimes, just a simple image can communicate what it would take a thousand words to say. These images also enable us to quickly absorb messages, that if conveyed in print, would take much longer to understand. Those are two of the many valuable aspects of iconographic communication.
We live in a culture that has become more and more iconographic, and less and less word-based. These photos combine words and images, and use words as images. “Life is once around” it says. We could actually string some of these thoughts together. “Life is once around. Always act as if what you do makes a difference… it does.”
The art form is carefully presented in black and white to make the messages pop in the framed pictures. What do you think of these examples of thought provoking message filled iconographic art, such as, “bad news can be good news in disguise”?
Please share your thoughts and we’ll mix up the iconography with some online communication. For some beautiful, rich, 3d, iconographic architectural images you can live in, contact Brooks & Falotico, a distinguished New England architectural services firm.
