About Us
HISTORY
Brooks and Falotico was founded in 1988 by Louise Brooks. Vincent Falotico, AIA, joined the firm in 1993 and became a partner in 1999. In 2008, the original name of Gullans and Brooks was changed to Brooks and Falotico. Over the past two decades, the firm has grown to more than 20 professionals. We have created or renovated over 200 residences throughout the United States. While the majority of our work is in Connecticut and Westchester County New York, we are currently designing projects on Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket in Massachusetts, Shelter Island and the North Shore of Long Island, Colorado, Florida, Montana, South Carolina and Rhode Island. Our work ranges in scale and complexity from 500 square foot additions to large residential compounds.

Brooks and Falotico’s award-winning work has been featured in many books and nationally distributed periodicals, including Martha Stewart Living, Traditional Home, Renovation Style, House and Garden and House Beautiful.
SERVICES
Brooks and Falotico offers comprehensive residential architectural services including initial planning, budgeting, design, municipal approvals, contractor selection and construction review. We provide full construction documentation detailing all aspects of the project. Both partners are personally involved in each project throughout the process.
BIOGRAPHIES:
LOUISE BROOKS- Louise Brooks is the founding partner of Brooks and Falotico where she has overseen the design and construction of scores of important residences throughout the United States.
Prior to forming Brooks and Falotico, Ms. Brooks was an Associate at the firm of GN Associates, where she was responsible for the design and management of several A.I.A. award-winning projects including the renovation of General Electric’s Executive offices in Fairfield, Connecticut. At Sylvan R. Shimitz Associates, a lighting consultant in New Haven, Connecticut, she worked with many prominent architectural firms, including I.M. Pei and Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. Her responsibilities as a project manager at Tilton and Lewis Associates in Chicago, Illinois, included the renovation of Wingspread, the Johnson family residence.
Ms. Brooks serves on the advisory board of the Bank of New York – Mellon, and on the Housing Board of the Town of New Canaan. She received a bachelor of fine arts degree from Saint Mary’s College and studied Architecture at the University of Notre Dame and Drexel University.
VINCENT FALOTICO
Vincent Falotico joined Brooks and Falotico in 1993 and became a partner in 1999. He is responsible for the daily operation of the firm and has overseen the design and construction of many important residences throughout the United States.
Prior to joining Brooks and Falotico, Mr. Falotico was an associate at AG/ENA (formerly, Alan Goldberg/Eliot Noyes Associates) in New Canaan, Connecticut, where he worked with many leading corporations, municipalities and residential clients on a variety of projects including additions and restorations of several historically significant modern houses.
Mr. Falotico received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University School of Architecture. He is licensed to practice architecture in Connecticut, Montana, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island and South Carolina. He is a member of The American Institute of Architects and is accredited by the National Council of Architectural Review Board. Mr. Falotico is currently serving as Vice President of the board of the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra.
